My name is Gavin Kim. I am a high school student and writer who is interested in Native American history. I am fascinated by the past and how it connects to present-day culture and politics, and I hope to educate others about what I learn.
Mission Statement
The goal of this blog is for people to discover facts and stories about Native American history that they might not have known about. There are many misconceptions about Native Americans; that they were primitive people. However, this common misconception couldn’t be further from the truth. Native Americans built complex civilizations, and the stories of many Native American individuals display the complex, chaotic, and tragic story of the development of the US as we know it.
